Kia ora and greetings.

In this rapidly changing world, we see more than ever the practices of meditation, grounding and mindfulness as great tools in helping us manage our ourselves and the world around us.  They can provide us with balance, clarity and ease.

We wish to support people in these practices as much as we can. For this purpose what we have to offer in Wellington is:

  • Meditation Evenings
  • Year-long Retreat Group

We have over 40 years experience in meditation and mindfulness and have been teaching these skills for past 30 years. Jenny has also been a counsellor, psychotherapist and supervisor for over 35 years.

MEDITATION EVENINGS

Tuesday Meditation a5 2018

The TUESDAY MEDITATION EVENING is designed to support you in your meditation practice no matter whether you are a beginner or have been meditating for a while. A range of meditations are practiced.

This year we will begin the year by doing alternate weeks of in person meditation and then an online meditation.  

Our first meditation of the year, on the 30th January, will be in person and the next meditation on the 6th February will be online. We will send out an email each week so you know whether the meditation session is in person or online.

The in person meditation runs from 7.45 pm to 9.00 pm at 69 Raroa Rd, Kelburn, and the online meditation runs from 8.00 pm to 9.00 pm, will be held on Zoom. 

There is no charge for the meditation sessions and donations are welcome.

We understand that zoom meditations are preferred and are practical for those not living in central Wellington and for others it is in person that suits. We encourage you to attend in person if it’s practical as experiencing the supportive field of a group directly tends to deepen and enrich our connection to the presence which is available.  

Email us if you would like to attend and we can send you the weekly email advising if meditation is in person or online. You are most welcome to join us.

WELLBEINGS RETREAT GROUP 2024

Screen Shot 2023-11-02 at 12.57.27 PMThe Wellbeings Retreat Group group provides an opportunity for participants to deepen their spiritual connection and growth through meditation, inquiry, and creative media.

This supportive group explores a different topic each month and it helps people connect to their inherent nature, and experience qualities such as, peace, equanimity, inner strength, spaciousness, joy, love, compassion and freedom. 

In 2024 the group will meet for ten Saturdays in the year, 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. The dates for 2024 are: 24 Feb, 23 Mar, 27 Apr, 25 May,    22 Jun, 20 Jul, 24 Aug, 21 Sep, 19 Oct, 16 Nov.
